The DBQ project is excited to demo the new features of our DBQ Online platform. For those familiar with our methodology, see if the Online version is right for you. For those new to DBQ, receive an overview of our 6-step teaching method and designed to address issues of equity when involving students in historical inquiries using documents. ( Grades 3-12).

Participants will review the interactive tools and features of DBQ Online to understand The DBQ Project's 6-step method. Using DBQ Online teachers can:

  • Provide feedback and grade student work
  • Add co-teachers to their classes
  • Provide detailed instructions to students
  • Assign audio read-aloud of textual documents
  • Customize assignments within a class
  • Assign Essay Builder and/or Guided Essay to guide students through the writing process.

Participants will engage with DBQ Online to learn how the six-step method engages students in critical thinking and evidence-based writing. Bring iPad, Chromebook or laptop.
