The primary role of a therapy/comfort/help dog in school is to assist individuals who demonstrate symptoms/behaviors/needs such as panic attacks, depression, grief/loss, stress, tension, limited socialization with peers, limited motivation to attend school, reading support and fluency activities, and provide sensory support. Our dogs are in their respective schools on a daily basis.
