Through a coaching collaboration as teacher and tech coach, we transformed an already dynamic curriculum to encourage student collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and included the element of CHOICE. Students communicate out their work through school announcements and YouTube, and have an authentic audience for their experience. How can you manage the challenges of allowing student choice, while allowing them to have an authentic voice and explore topics that they’re truly interested in? How do students feel about the burden and freedom of choosing their topics and learning?"
* Coach-Teacher conversations-- how did this start? What do we hope that students achieve?
* Reflection on process of developing curriculum
* Developing the "menu"
* Implementing the menu-- the challenges of choice
* Refinement, reflection, and sharing out
* Next steps for the students, and how we’re impacting staff
