As a FileWave customer for over 7 years, Brian shares his overall perspective utilizing FileWave’s device management for Apple devices at Forest Ridge D142. Areas covered will be pushing out iOS & macOS updates, deploying filesets/software payloads, creating and utilizing queries and working with smart groups.
Brian Skibinski serves as the Chief Information Officer at Forest Ridge School District 142 for the past six years. He supports 1,600 K-8 students, 150 faculty and staff across four schools. The district is primarily comprised of 350 macOS and 1,600 iOS devices. A graduate of Purdue University, he holds degrees in Computer Technology and Organizational Leadership and Supervision. Computers have been a keen interest since his first Intel 386 PC with a color dot matrix printer! Prior to joining District 142, he was the Technology Director at Palos Heights School District 128, a small law firm in Chicago and Marian Catholic High School. He resides in Frankfort with his wife and three children.
