Recognizing that technology has applications in so many distinct areas of education, we are going to highlight how you can use our web-based tool to assess and organize your current classroom library. A well-organized, well-stocked classroom library provides the best opportunity for students to find those “just right books” that spark their interest and keep them motivated, and we’ll talk about strategies for making that magic happen. Building on that, we will share ways of ensuring that your classroom is inclusive and ideas for encouraging empathy and awareness by incorporating diverse titles into your teaching.

We will be presenting a free tool for organizing your classroom library and tips and considerations for building your library to be an engaging collection that appeals to all students.  Attendees will walk away with the resources to start building a library or auditing their current library.

I was an EdTech and Business teacher for 15 years in Central Illinois school. I worked with students in grades 5-12. Now in my role at Booksource, I work with teachers to build the best classroom library they can and find books to connect with each student.
