Engineering in the Classroom: Problem Solvers of Today and Tomorrow

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join us to get hands-on with some engineering design challenges! All students benefit from bringing these creative problem-solving challenges into the classroom. Come discuss why this is important for their present and future. We will talk about modifying activities for differentiation and share how to use simple materials for engineering challenges. Activities shared have been used in a 7th/8th grade science classroom with a population of students with learning disabilities. We will design and build together during this session. Accessible resources like Novel Engineering (from Tufts University) will be shared so you feel empowered to bring engineering into your own classroom.
