First, learn research based information on the importance of visuals in blended and online courses including the positive effects on student motivation and engagement. Included is information on the four types of visuals to improve online content and which are the most effective. The more visual your course, the more students will want to engage with it.
Next, learn tips to organize courses to give them that visual pop for students that not only draws them in but also provides them with multiple paths to content. Learn to to create and embed visuals, Google content, hyperdocs, and more. Examples will be provided for Schoology, Canvas, and Google Classroom.
Finally, learn course organizational techniques to promote self-paced blended learning techniques that also allow students to work collaboratively with others. Consistent organization gives you and your students more time to engage in learning.
