What do purple ketchup, new Coke, the Apple Newton and the lesson plan you spent all weekend designing have in common? Unfortunately, they were all epic fails. In life and in the classrooms, things do not always go as planned. However failures, whether famous or from our own classrooms, can lead to a positive and powerful transformation. During this session, we will share personal failures, explore the lessons learned from these experiences and how to cultivate a growth mindset. Through problem-solving, coaching, and establishing a culture of risk-taking, develop the tools and techniques necessary to navigate failure. While some may shy away from failure, join us as we embrace the uh-ohs, oops and flops of life.
