We will investigate mindfulness in theory and practice: mindfulness in the classroom, current research, controversial issues, philosophical underpinnings, different practices and application in education. I will present key research results from my pilot study and information on websites and supplementary resources and technology. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect and explore web-based resources and apps and design their own “1 – 2 – 3” action plan for implementation of mindfulness. This is an interactive session aimed to foster critical, constructive and collaborative thinking.
