Did you ever see a picture or video online and wonder can I use this? Did you know that as soon as your students create something it instantly has a copyright? Do you need to ask permission to use copyrighted materials (images, videos, and more) in your classroom Do your students? Is it ok to share memes, images, and videos on social media? These questions and more will be answered. This session will provide you an introduction to copyright in your classroom and teaching it to your students. You will leave this session with an idea of how copyright affects you, creative commons and public domain resources, and you will be ready to teach about copyright tomorrow.
