3D Printing with elementary students?! Yes, you can! It’s easy as ABC… find out how we’ve printed hundreds of original, thoughtful 3D printed designs with our students, from Bubble Wands to Food Trucks. Our passion is integrating technology tools in a meaningful way in order to develop design thinkers. Utilizing the design process, picture books, and a lot of imagination, we have designed many 3D printing units that take our students to the next level when it comes to fabrication in our spaces. We are a Technology teacher and a Learning Commons teacher who have #failedforward in many ways on our journey with 3D printing projects. Our goal is to share our stories, best practices, and tips for troubleshooting so you can walk away confident and ready to 3D print with your elementary students!
