Taking the Digital out Citizenship

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Much focus and attention recently has been spent on digital citizenship. This session will look at strategies and activities that address citizenship as a whole, not just the digital component of it. How can educators help students become better citizens of their school and local communities? What are methods and strategies that will empower students to become active and positive members of their communities? This session will attempt to address these types of questions and find places to fit these discussions into the curriculum including but not limited to both Jr. and Sr high school civics courses.
