Attendees will learn ways to construct and use a STEM lab and Stem Lab tools to facilitate and develop a curriculum that helps build critical thinking skills while providing real-world experiences. Participants will learn how to utilize a variety of technology tools in a stem lab or classroom setting using a blended learning approach. We will share how these technology tools such as Chromebooks, green screen, drones, Spheros, Google Expeditions (VR), zSpace machines, and 3D printers have helped to build critical thinking skills in our students while providing real-world experiences. Attendees will also learn how technology integration specialist has collaborated with classroom teachers to redesign classroom instruction with a blended learning approach. With this type of approach, students are able to experience a variety of technology tools within one class period or lesson. Teachers are able to differentiate instruction tailored to students’ needs in small groups. The teacher becomes more of a facilitator in the learning process and students are given more ownership of their personal learning.
