Using technology in math can sometimes be a challenge. Equations don’t type in the right area, graphs can be tricky to create, even straight forward tasks can be complicated by the infusion of technology. Larger projects, however, can be an amazing opportunity to not just substitute technology for a paper task but to really redefine your math learning opportunities through the infusion of technology. In this session we will dive into how we transformed traditional math projects into new digital learning opportunities for students to infuse academic math concepts into authentic real life learning. If you have access to Google tools in your classroom then you have the power to do the same transformations as we have done. Come learn how we accessed what we were already doing and found opportunities for technology to raise the level of learning and engagement for our students.
