Podcasting is one of the fastest growing mediums in the world. With the advancement in technology, the process (and price!) of producing, hosting, and promoting a podcast has become as realistic as writing and publishing a blog post. In this session, we’ll explore why you should considering podcasting with your students, the many types of podcasts you could create, the skills your students will take away, and how you can get started right away! You’ll then collaborate and produce your own podcast episode! We’ll walk through pre-production, post-production (editing, adding music, etc), publishing an episode, and how to effectively market and promote your podcast. You will leave this session with all the tips, tricks, and tools you need to get started today!
